Grilled Broccolini

JUMP TO RECIPE

Grilled broccolini came about because I was grilling asparagus, and I realized that not everyone enjoys asparagus. I wanted to do something with the same flavor profile, but a different vegetable.

This recipe is super delicious when leaving on the grill long enough to get grill marks and a little char on it. It has a nice zesty flavor from the lemon zest, lemon juice, and lemon pepper seasoning. It is the most flavorful broccolini you’ll ever have.

Grilled broccolini is delicious as leftovers, even put into salads or served cold. An excellent dish for outdoor barbeques and cookouts because it can stand to sit outside for up to 2 hours. I am sure this grilled broccoli will be on regular rotation for grilling season.

Grilled Broccolini

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Broccolini
  • 2 lemons zested and juiced
  • 1 tbsp of avocado oil
  • 2 tsp of Foodlovetog LemonPeppa Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp of Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to 400°
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccolini, lemon zest, half the lemon juice, salt, and LemonPeppa seasoning Toss until fully coated.
  3. Place the broccolini on the grill being careful to not let the Broccolini fall between the grates and with enough space between each piece. This will allow for even cooking. Let the broccolini cook for 5 to 7 minutes, rotating it on the grill occasionally. Remove from the grill and place it in the large bowl and toss it with the remaining lemon juice.
  4. Serve broccolini hot off the grill or cold.
